Like the Iplet Mail, Platemail was an ancient armor devised by the Emerald Knights in their quest to protect Temuair from the horrors of Chaos. Platemail was worn by the soldiers on the forefront of the action, with the massive plates keeping them safe from the savage claws of the enemy. Only the drawvish smiths remember the construction techniques of the Platemail, though regional tailors across Temuair will be happy to apply colored enamel to the exterior.

Ake will only smith for those who are respected in their community and are willing to assist him in the smithing. To that extent you need to have full labor available, and have served at least one term as respected citizen. Additionally you will need to provide 12 Emerald Rings to hold the plates together.
